Redoxoma student Rosangela Silva Santos was selected in the FEMS Empowerment 2022-Q2 program of Females in Mass Spectrometry (FeMS) and will receive a cash prize, which will partially fund her participation in the Paris Redox 2022 congress. FeMS is a global initiative that aims to create a support network for women in the field of mass spectrometry. Rosangela is a PhD student at the Laboratory of Modified Lipids and Redox Biochemistry, at the Instituto de Química at Universidade de São Paulo (USP), under the guidance of Professor Sayuri Miyamoto.
