The thesis Elucidating mechanisms of ferroptosis regulation: the roles of peroxiredoxin 6 and cellular lipid composition, by Alex Inague, received an honorable mention in the Tese Destaque USP - 13^th Edition.

Inague was advised by Professor Sayuri Miyamoto, from the Laboratory of Modified Lipids and Redox Biochemistry at IQ-USP and a member of the RIDC Redoxoma. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the University of California, Berkeley, USA.

The Tese Destaque USP Award Ceremony will be held on November 26, 2024, at 2:00 pm, in the University Council Room (CO).
